Overview

Located beyond the U.S. Customs and Border Protection screening facilities at Dublin airport, the shared 51st&Green lounge is exclusively reserved for passengers departing to the US.

Dublin airport is one of the first airports worldwide to offer pre-clearance facilities for passengers traveling to the US. By clearing US immigrations and customs in Dublin prior to boarding their flight, passengers land in the US along with domestic flights, greatly streamlining entry in the US and onwards domestic connections. Passengers do not need to re-clear customs or security in the US.

The 51st&Green lounge is currently used by Aer Lingus, Delta, United, and American Airlines.

Opened in July 2016, the club boasts a modern, pristine space with high ceilings, grand views of the adjacent runway – 51st&Green happens to be the closest lounge to a runway in the world – and light filled spaces catering to both work and relaxation.

The lounge is truly unique as it’s under US jurisdiction yet still on Irish soil. The name, 51st&Green, is inspired by this theme of intersection. It represents the place where Ireland and America connect – the 51st State of America and Green for Ireland and Dublin Airport.

The core theme of the intersection of Ireland and America is reflected in all aspects of the lounge experience – the design, the service, the food and communications.

The lounge is zoned by activity, allowing customers spend their time as they wish and giving them space to relax, work, play or eat as they wait to be called to their boarding gate, located just moments away.

We offer a wide range of healthy and nutritious dishes, with an emphasis on fresh, seasonal produce. Our dishes have been specially selected to showcase Irish food with an American twist. Dishes include Kenmare Smoked Salmon, New England Clam Chowder, Irish Coastline Fish Pie and Macaroni & Cheese.

Our customers can enjoy freshly brewed coffee from our Barista Bar, with coffee beans blended exclusively for 51st&Green by Cloud Picker, a micro-roastery located only 9km from our lounge.

Our food and drink is complemented by a warm, welcoming service, allowing our customers enjoy the last few minutes of Irish hospitality and a welcome taste of American service ahead.

This is a really great airport lounge. Very modern and bright with plenty of space. It’s also right next to a runway and the lounge actually has windows so you can sit and enjoy the view. Really great customer service, especially the barista. The latte I had was delicious! I was here for breakfast and there was a good spread of food and juices available; cereals, muffins, crepes, Belgium waffles, and sausage sandwiches.
