Lounge has gotten better this year – spacious, well lit
Breakfast selection could be better still

The Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge at Los Angeles Airport is a solid lounge with ample seating, great views, plenty of daylight, a substantial food and beverage selection at meal times, and shower suites.

While the seating is ample and ok, the snacks that they are offer are horrible! Apples, soup, tortilla chips with salsa, bean salad and greens. Seriously??? As a business class passenger, I would have expected something a little more substantial. Would not recommend that you pay for this privilege. Not worth any extra fees.

I tried purchasing access to this lounge for my son who had a 10 hour stopover at LAX. Air Canada refused because the ticket was purchased through Singapore Airlines, and this even though the leg between LA and Montreal was on Air Canada. So much for concentrating flights with Star Alliance members… Air Canada lacks flexibility.
