Update: airberlin has gone out of business and all lounges have closed permanently.
As its name indicates, the airberlin Exclusive Waiting Area at Berlin Tegel airport isn’t a true lounge, and doesn’t pretend to be one.
Eligible passengers (airberlin elite members and FlyFlex customers) will find a simple, secluded space away from the noise of the terminal with complimentary soft and hot drinks, newspapers and magazines, and power outlets.
Personal assistance and typical lounge amenities such as snacks or showers aren’t available at airberlin Exclusive Waiting Areas. Business class passengers and oneworld elites may use the British Airways Terraces lounge as an alternative.
