My partner and I visited this lounge on Feb. 18, 2019 and both of us were violently ill a few hours later. We ate from both the hot and cold buffets — mashed potatoes and fish in a creamy sauce from the hot dishes and a few things from the salad bar.
We were at the lounge during a layover and the food there was the only food we had eaten all day. We caught our next flight after visiting Almost@Home Lounge and about four hours into the flight, we both started feeling sick. We were both sick for hours and could not continue our travels the next day. Instead, we had to book a hotel when we arrived at the next airport and stayed there to recover.
I will never return to Almost@Home Lounge and I advise everyone who does to be very careful about what they eat there.
We tried contacting them about the problem, but they refuse to believe it could have been their food that caused the food poisoning and will not compensate us for the lounge access passes.
Terrible customer service and a terrible experience in general.
This is a very unuasual lounge, as it really gives you a feeling of entering a private home. Plenty of seating in different areas and lots of nice details to discover. Staff is very friendly.
Breakfast selection was small but ok, same aplies for beverages. champagne and spirits are only available for a fee.
Free WIF and good selection of newspapers and magazines., Workstations for adults, play-station for kids.
This is a lounge that makes you feel good, we enjoyed our stay very much. Different seating areas like a dining lounge or a couch corner. The lady at the front desk was extremely nice and helpful. There is no apron-view because the lounge is situated at the wrong side of the terminal building but plenty of natural light comes in anyway. Very nice interiour and great atmosphere.
Nice selection of food at the buffet which is actually a real kitchen. There is also a tea corner and a coffee corner. Most beverages including sparkling wine are free of charge, only some premium spirits are available against payment only. And if you look for cutlery: it is in the kitchen drawer…
Free WIFI, newspapers and magazines, 2 HP touch screen computers and a playstation for the kids. There are also restrooms and a shower available.
