Overall ratings
Very disappointed with our visit to the Aspire plus lounge at Bristol airport. On arrival the lounge was very quiet. Lady serving did not seem very happy. There were no cream teas, trio of pies and the cakes on offer were dry. The lady serving was on the phone moaning about not being able to have her break and was not going to stay on that night. All in all a very poor lounge and I will not be using it again.
Myself and my wife pre-booked the Aspire Plus lounge at Bristol Airport this morning (16/09/15) prior to our 7.05am flight to Faro. Having never used either of the Aspire lounges at Bristol I was unsure whether I was wasting money, but decided to try in order to get the best possible start to our much-needed holiday by booking the ‘Plus’ lounge. What a great decision! It provided a perfect chilled, comfortable and relaxed start to our holiday with a great selection of complimentary drinks and top-notch food both hot and cold. Sausages, scrambled egg, bacon, rolls, croissants, cereal, biscuits, cakes, yoghurts, mini salmon, salmon and cream cheese bagels and more… brilliant choice. A glass (actually 2, as I was reminded by Nino who was on duty in the lounge that I was on holiday and was perfectly entitled to treat myself despite the early hour!) of Prosseco was most welcome as was the great range of tea, coffe, fruit juices etc etc that were freely available. It was the fantastic start to our holiday that I’d hoped for and I will most definitely book it again for future trips. Many thanks to Nino for his wonderful, attentive service. You should be proud of having him working for you and should consider making him a permanent fixture in the ‘Plus’ lounge – he obviously strives for the sort of exemplary service and attention to detail that people of modest means like me ‘Aspire’ to when booking an extravagant extra. Very, very pleased and highly recommended.
