Plenty of time to write this while my Lion Air flight is delayed AGAIN. First, this lounge is worth either one star or five depending on what you are going for. In general it’s worse than most lounges but way better than the terminal it allows you to escape from (aren’t most lounges like that?). If you’re looking for alcohol, good food, or a place to sleep, shower, or work you’re out of luck. There is plenty of comfortable seating though, and the air conditioning and bathrooms are way better than in the terminal. There is also a smoking room, a prayer room, and a massage room, if you’re interested in any of those.
The absolute best thing though, which I haven’t seen anywhere else, is the ability to bypass the terminal entirely. This is absolutely game changing and makes my trips to CGK much more tolerable. You enter the lounge curbside and go through their security checkpoint, and for Rp50K they will monitor your flight for you and deliver you to your plane! When it’s time for the flight, you go through another checkpoint straight onto the tarmac, where a van drives you to the plane and you board at the plane with the other passengers.
