First impression was that this is a clean, modern lounge. Was very quiet (visited at around 9am), so didn’t struggle to find somewhere to sit.

Sadly, that’s where the joy ended.
I was hoping for some (hot) breakfast items, but all that was available was a very small selection of pastries, bread, and cold meats. In fact the only hot food was scrambled eggs, which didn’t look terribly appetising at all. More over, for what was available, there wasn’t much left — which was surprising given the lounge was fairly quiet.
My advice would be that, if you’re planning to visit at breakfast time but your hotel offers an inclusive breakfast, take the latter — it has to be better than this.

Replenishment was a bit of a miss in general. No cups for a large coffee; some self-serve juice jugs were virtually empty. The coffee itself wasn’t terrible, but comes from a Nescafe self-serve machine; would have expected better in Italia, and especially Milano.

What frustrated me most is that there are no food labels on most things, so it’s a guess as to what certain things are. There is a small sign about allergens, but could already sense there was a language barrier after the coffee machine wouldn’t work, and a cleaner tried to help.

In a nutshell, don’t come to BGY expecting premium lounge service.

Horrible, almost no food, max 2 glasses of wine per person. Avoid
