    I recently visited the refurbished Pearl Lounge at Kuwait International Airport.
    Although it was an improvement on the previous lounge design, I found the layout a disaster. All the tables and chairs in the main eating area are way too close together. There is a mish-mash of different types of seating which are totally unpractical.
    You have these side bench seat areas which are very small. and are very tight to sit in if there are three or four people sharing together. The colour scheme of grey and this awful greenish colour is terrible. The overall colours of grey, green and blue do not work well together.
    I don’t know who was responsible for the redesign, but if they were working for me I would sack them,
    Very disappointing.
    Also, the range of food is very small and very very average food.
    Luckily the lounge was quiet but on a busy day I think it would not be a pleasant experience.
    The staff were very pleasant and helpful.
