Opened late 2023, the Star Alliance Lounge in the Non-Schengen zone of Terminal 1 is located after passport control and security, in the newest wing of the terminal, near gates 10-38. The club welcomes Star Alliance Business and First Class customers and Star Alliance Gold passengers traveling outside Europe’s Schengen zone.
Spanning across 14,000 square feet (1,300 square meters), the Star Alliance Lounge Paris in the Non-Schengen zone accommodates 300 guests in elegant surroundings. The decor celebrates Parisian architecture with subtle accents such as wall moldings, archways, hardwood floors, and art pieces inspired by the French capital. While an unlikely feature in an Haussmannian building, the dramatic floor-to-ceiling windows liven up the space and offer spectacular tarmac views.
Conceived by design firm Gensler, the lounge boats cozy egg chairs, inviting recliners, plush couches, semi-private nooks, sound-proof cabins, traditional lounge seats, and tabletop seating overlooking the runway, all with power outlets at arm’s length.
Star Alliance offers a full hot buffet featuring rotating seasonal menus and French specialties. Patrons will also find a wine bar with a selection of wines from the South of France chosen by winemaker Gerard Bertrand, a signature bar serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and a salon de thé (tea room) featuring an assortment of teas by Thés de la Pagode.
Other amenities include elegant shower suites, and an outdoor space.
Passengers traveling within Europe’s Schengen zone and Priority Pass members cannot access the Star Alliance near gates 10-38 and are invited to use the “legacy” Star Alliance Lounge in the central terminal building, before security. While darker and less visually appealing, the landside club also features shower rooms and an outdoor patio.
