Overview

The Emirates Lounge at Bangkok airport was remodeled and expanded in April 2017, and now features the airline’s latest design with elegant furniture, LED TVs, artwork, and luxurious touches such as fresh flowers. The lounge boasts views of the airport’s garden and west wing.

Emirates offers a full complimentary hot buffet featuring local and international dishes, as well as an extensive beverage selection.

The lounge features shower suites, a prayer room, and a business center with shared computers.

The Emirates Lounge at Bangkok - Suvarnabhumi (BKK) welcomes:

Emirates First class passengers (+1 guest)
Emirates Business class passengers (no guests)
Emirates Skywards Gold and Platinum members departing on an Emirates flight (+1 guest + paid guests)
Emirates Economy class passengers, on a pay-in basis.

Guests must be traveling on the same flight. Skywards Platinum and Gold tier members can purchase access for additional guests.

The lounge itself is nice, however it was a 20 minute walk away from our gate which was at the opposite end of the airport (no fast transit options)
We were told that the distance involved was because an A380 cannot use the gates nearest the lounge, which given the fact that Emirates overwhelmingly uses that plane type makes the lounge location very strange.
