United Club – Houston Intercontinental (IAH) Terminal C North
United operates five United Clubs at Houston Intercontinental hub airport, located in Terminals A, B, C, and E. The United Club in Terminal C North is the most attractive of all—it was remodeled early 2017, and its bright and airy design stands in sharp contrast with the vintage décor of the other locations.
The United Club welcomes members and their guests, United Premier Gold passengers flying internationally, and Star Alliance Gold customers departing on an international flight operated by a Star Alliance carrier. (Partner airlines depart from Terminal D, a 10-15 minute walk from Terminal C.)

An automatic door opens onto a trendy lobby area adorned with pictures of vintage United aircraft, an inviting touch down space, and bold blue LED lighting.

The lounge proper sports a more conservative décor dominated by white tones and clean lines. The ensemble is pristine and resolutely modern, but lacks warmth.
The open layout enables the abundant daylight from the window wall to flow throughout the space. The club is seamlessly divided into a spacious bar, buffet and dining area on the left; a seating and relaxation zone in the center; and a work area on the right. From all seats, guests enjoy expansive tarmac views.
Seating options include stylish leather seats, dining tables and booths, high-top seating, and United’s signature blue egg chairs that invite to conversation and relaxation. Virtually all seats come with power and USB outlets, and the main seating area features side tables and individual lamps.

The United Club at Houston Bush airport Terminal C North features a set of essential amenities geared primarily at domestic travelers.
In the morning, passengers will find a continental breakfast spread along with a rotating hot item such as oatmeal. Throughout the day, guests can choose from a variety of snacks, salads, soups, and desserts. The items are fresh and tasty, and the selection suffices for a substantial snack, but comes short of accommodating a proper meal.

Complimentary self-service drinks include infused water, juices, hundreds of soda concoctions from a Coke Freestyle machine, tea, and espresso. House wines, Prosecco and liquor are free at the bar, while premium beverages come at a cost.
Business amenities include fast Wi-Fi, two fully-enclosed phone rooms equipped with a lamp and a work desk, and a network printer.
The bathrooms are spacious and modern, with visually intriguing features such as the mirrors in the shape of Boeing 787 windows. However, United does not offer showers anymore—once available to United Club members in Concourses C and E, showers are now exclusively available at the Polaris Lounge for long-haul premium passengers.
Other amenities include a wellness room for expecting and new mothers, a selection of newspapers of magazines, and complimentary access to Foli, an online press kiosk.

The newly-renovated United Club at Houston Bush Intercontinental Airport at Concourse C North is United’s best lounge at IAH for United Club members and Star Alliance Gold members traveling internationally. (Long-haul premium passengers receive access to the far superior Polaris Lounge in Concourse E.)
The club features a luminous seating area with power outlets at every seat, well-appointed work spaces, an enjoyable cold spread, and a selection of complimentary drinks.
On the downside, the lounge routinely fills up at peak times, and while the amenities should satisfy the needs of most domestic travelers, the lack of showers is unfortunate as far as international passengers are concerned. The recent remodel also spelled the demise of the former family room.

- Business Class passengers departing on an intercontinental flight operated by a Star Alliance carrier (no guests)
- First Class passengers departing on an intercontinental flight operated by a Star Alliance carrier (+1 guest)
- United Premier Gold, Premium Platinum, Premier 1K, and Global Services members departing on an intercontinental flight operated by a Star Alliance carrier in any class of service (+1 guest)
- Star Alliance Gold Members (except United Premier members and above) departing on a domestic or international flight operated by a Star Alliance carrier in any class of service (+1 guest)
- United Club one-time pass holders (subject to capacity restrictions) (no guests)
- Active U.S. military personnel departing on a same day United flight (+family members)
- Air Canada Maple Leaf Club members departing on a flight operated by a Star Alliance carrier (no guests for Air Canada Maple Leaf Club North America members, +1 guest for Air Canada Maple Leaf Club Worldwide members)
Notes:
- Passengers in domestic First class do not receive United Club access. United Business passengers flying on a Premium Service flight between San Francisco/Boston, San Francisco/Newark, or Los Angeles/Newark receive access at the origin and destination of their premium transcontinental flight.
- A government-issued photo ID (such as a driver’s license, passport or military ID) may be required.

I’m a million miler on UA. Delta is soooo much better and Delta’s lounges are free for AMEX Platinum
United Clue is not worth the annual fee
Overcrowded with Credit Card holder,s No newspapers, Meals are terrible, all high carb. It is pretty, but it is a terrible spot for a business traveler. Spend money anywhere else.
Often quieter than the other United Clubs, open space, but very basic.
