THE WORST LOUNGE EVER! dont you ever come there…

  • Veronika Birman

I used your Wellness lounge at Ibrahim Nasir International Airport in Male. And it was the worst lounge experience ever.

Normally it takes you around 35 Dollars for the access to world’s premium lounges.

This time I wanted just an access to the shower between my flights, so had to pay 29$ for the shower only. It’s a rate when you expect some kind of services provided.

In 4 minutes the floor was flooded and the water ran to the door with no threshold between the bathroom and the lounge. So it was impossible even to wash my head or do anything else but a quick soap-on, soap-off procedure.

To stop flooding I decided to continue some necessary things at the sink, but there was no water in the tap! I mean, no water at all, not even cold one. So even to wash my hands for the contact lenses I had do go to the shower again and cause some more flooding.

Amenities were just a bottle with an unknown shampoo inside and another white bottle with no signs at all – you have to try & guess what’s inside. Ok, that was a shower gel. So there is no hair conditioner or body lotion or refreshing fragrance and all by a nice manufacturer that you normally expect from a premium lounge (or a shower for $29!). Empty box for the cosmetic napkins. There is a shaving kit that you actually can’t use cause the shower brings flood, and there is no water at the sink’s tap

So I was out in 10 minutes with a flooded floor and no possibilities to complete the mission.

As I complainted the staff told me they knew the problems existed, but nobody took care to tell me before I get in.

Completely wasted Us$29 and time to try chances with another better lounge.

It could be “o’k” for a free of charge service at the airport, but shame for 29-dollars service of a premium lounge.
