Delta has recently opened up a new SkyClub at Los Angeles International Airport, in the new SkyWay between Terminal 3 and 2. The club, which is 30,000 feet, is one of the largest clubs in Delta’s network and will be open to club members as well as those flying business class on long-haul international or transcontinental flights.
What’s inside?
There are some unique features at this new SkyClub as well as some fan favorites:
- Complimentary Wi-Fi
- Power outlets and charging stations
- Complimentary food and buffet
- Shower and restroom facilities
- Complimentary bar, featuring well and premium liquors.
- Outdoor deck
Here’s What You Can Expect
The lounge, in combination with the other lounge in Terminal 3, can house over 800 guests as one time. Once you enter the lounge, you’ll check-in on an automated kios; gone are the days of having to check-in with a human.
Once inside, you’ll find a number of amenities that make this Delta’s flagship lounge, including private phone booths, family rooms, showers accessible via a virtual queue and a media room.
How to Access the Lounge
You can access the lounge either with a Delta SkyClub membership, or flying business class on an eligible transcontinental or international flight. If you’re a SkyTeam Elite Plus member, you’ll also have access on international itineraries, or, if you have Elite Plus through another airline, you’ll have access on all itineraries.
Bottom Line
This new lounge will really bolster Delta’s position in LAX, making it competitive with Delta and United who offer upgraded lounge offerings. The new LAX lounge is enormous and will feature unique aneities such as an outdoor deck, making it the perfect respite between flights.
