Overall ratings
Expected more from Montreal. Took a good 45 minutes lined up on the stairs wait to get in, then all the chairs in the windowed room were taken so ended up in the back area, no windows, bad light just dismal not even background relaxing music which is not a big deal but would be nice to make an effort. Food was if not absolutely inedible, mediocre mass cafeteria stew, pasta, lettuce and (for dessert) a stale cookie! Even if you get access for free, spend some cash on a decent meal in the airport. But if you’re into unlimited drinking this is the place for you!
Other than that, the wifi was down, and the promised reading materials did not exist (and please don’t blame covid, no one was masked or distancing and food was served buffet style.) Worst lounge I’ve been to including Premium Plazas and other Air Canada lounges. Again, if you’re in here at all you got free access but the airport restaurants are less depressing and way better quality (and you can afford them). And you can buy your own reading materials! This on top of a massive tech failure and chaos at checkin in Edmonton. So long Air Canada, but you did have some good inflight TV.
