October ‘24. I see only review is a 1star; that is not the current condition. This is a good lounge, but small with limited but comfy seating. Food included lamb stew, chicken in red wine, samosas, Swahili chic roll, soup curry veggies, rice, Asian slaw , melon, pastry soft drinks beer and wine. Tv had a football match and another sports show. Seats have outlets and usb chargers. We have seen many international lounges and this is much better than the average. While no spirits available and small, it’s good. There are larger lounges in the terminal and I have not seen them. Priority Pass accepted.
Do not even consider – total waste of money.
We paid £60 for this lounge as we had four hours wait at Nairobi airport. First impression was good, looked clean and receptionist very cheerful. That was as good as it got… very small amount of food on offer – one cereal, bread for toast, 1 plate of cookies and 1 plate of sausage rolls. We settled on toast – no butter, so i went and asked the lady who was obviously busy folding napkins instead of looking after guests who huffed ‘butter!’ And stormed off in the back room for 10 mins by this time our toast was cold! Next the coffee machine – clearly marked ‘cappucino’ (with no instructions) – 2 cold cups of sludge later, i asked (still folding paper napkins) – told ‘coffee only’. More worrying is that the departures board did not update, so we ended up checking on the net and leaving the Lounge to check! A few mags to read but the only other tv’s had the same football match highlights repeating on loop. There were only 4 other people in the Lounge so no excuses! The seating was clean and comfortable but the whole lounge is uninspiring and dull. Basically do not waste your money, the coffee shops in the airport looked busier and much cheaper!
