Overall ratings
We`ve been to this lounge in the morning as well as in the evening. It is just one room but this is no problem since there were hardly any guests, Staff at the reception desk has always been very nice. They have a button to open the door to the lounge, but after you step in, the exclusive feeling ends. Interiour is nothing special, the tables and chairs are looking kind of cheap. The lounge does not have the exclusive touch that Lufthansa or even Swiss First Class Lounges are providing. There is a tv-set hanging in the air where they show a neverending programm of Austrian commercials. The lounge is not really staffed – there are 2 girls that you hardly see because there are mostly in the Business-Lounge or in the staff-room between the 2 lounges. Tables have not been cleared for quite some time and they do not ask you if you care for a drink which was not ok since we wanted champagne which is not available on a self-service basis. There are also 4 relax-chairs at the window with apron-view.
Breakfast selection was very small but ok. For lunch and dinner there is a choice of 2 warm meals that are the same as in the Senator Lounge. Snacks and other food-options are better and more exclusive than in the Senator-Lounge. The warm food was brought in at 11.00am and was still there when we came back at around 04.00pm – we are talking about the same bowl!!! Choice of beverages is very nice, only setback is that you have to ask for champagne (which is pretty complicated because the staff invisible during most of the time). And they don`t ask if you care for a second glass. And the ice-cubes were not replenished all evening long – they just did not care.
Free WIFI, flight information display and huge choice of newspapers and magazines. There also is a small office-area with workstations and a copy-machine. Other Amenities include a TV, small library featuring design-books and a quet-zone with 2 relax-chairs. Restrooms are outside the lounge and are used by all 3 lounges. There are also showers, one of the exclusively for the HON Circle Lounge.
