Vienna Airport is getting a facelift. In December 2024, Austrian Airlines opened a temporary lounge at Gates G (non-Schengen departures), which is expected to remain in operation until a new, permanent lounge opens in 2027 in the terminal’s south extension.

The Austrian Lounge is located in the former gates G01-Go3 area, and features comfortable seating and panoramic tarmac views. The club welcomes business class passengers and Star Alliance Gold members alike—there are no longer separate Business and Senator Lounges—but HON Circle members still have their own separate private area.

The Austrian Lounge sports an elegant design, various areas for work and relaxation, a hot buffet catered by Do&Co, and a coffee bar. Showers are not available at this location.

Austrian Business Class passengers, departing a same day flight (no guests)
Austrian economy passengers departing on a same-day flight, for 35 euros.
Miles & More Frequent Traveller members departing on a same-day Austrian or Star Alliance flight in any class of service (no guests)
Miles & More Senator members departing on a same-day Austrian or Star Alliance flight in any class of service (+1 guest)
Miles & More HON Circle members departing on a same-day Austrian or Star Alliance flight in any class of service (+1 guest)
Star Alliance Gold passengers departing on a same-day Austrian or Star Alliance flight in any class of service (+1 guest)
