Overall ratings
Delta Airlines finally opened its Sky Lounge at Tokyo Haneda International Airport. The lounge is located on the 5th floor near gate 114. Immediately you are greeted by a seasoned Japanese agent with a smile to assist you with the check-in. As you walk past the front desk, it opens to a modern design lounge with the staff ready to serve in a classic Japanese fashion. As you navigate the lounge, searching for a place to sit, you can smell that famous Delta Sky Lounge curry that I used to have at the Narita International Airport Sky Lounge. It also served a rolling cart of vegetable tempura. I thought that was a nice touch.
Everything is top-notch, but I was not too fond of some of the seats and their arrangement. It was not the A+ score of the Virgin Airlines/Delta Airlines lounge at London’s Heathrow Airport, but it deserves some applause with a B score.
