Overall ratings
This is a small lounge, thus crowded, especially so because the Priority Pass lounge in T2 was temporarily closed. The food selection included hot dishes, cold cuts, sandwiches, salads, and desserts. Food was good, but not exceptional. Definitely better than the average Priority Pass lounge, but below the standard of the best Priority pass lounges. The lounge decor was plain and bit institutional, but comfortable enough, and there were adequate electrical outlets.
We had a long layover, but because of the crowding, we were not allowed into the lounge until 3 hours before our flight, and because we had a flight back to the US, we had to leave the lounge 2-2 1/2 hours before our flight. It’s not the lounge’s fault that US PreClearance can take so long, but it means very little lounge time and lots of time in lines at US PreClearance or sitting at the gate.
Staff were pleasant, but they had the unenviable job of turning people away and enforcing the 3-hour time limit, regardless of whether a traveler needed to leave the lounge early to get through US PreClearance.
It was too full so economy class priority pass holders were not allowed inside.
This lounge is fine. Decent drinks. Ok food. A good place to sit. Nothing fancy.
Awful lounge. They need to visit the Etihad lounge next door to see how it should be done properly. It’s breakfast time – no croissants, no fried food, no white bread, no toast, a few lumps of hard cheese, unfriendly staff. No view as the the photo just frosted glass. Staff knocking crockery about noisily so no possibility of sleep. Uncomfortable chairs. No carpets anywhere in the lounge. Only one Irish newspaper available. No UK newspapers and a bunch of really obscure, out of date magazines. I’m writing this from the lounge and will now go out to the main airport area for a better ambience as I can’t bear it anymore. I‘m shocked by lack of Irish hospitality and lack of professionalism.
Limited sitting space, limited beverages selection (no alcohol, apple+arrange juices & coke – that is!) . Durty.
No food just 2 or 3 snacks (scones, etc.). Loud annoying music.
Just sad & bad – not worse wasting time in there.
Rude receptionist, unhelpful and wanted to deny entry to Air Canada passengers, even though it clearly said on the booking confirmation that lounge access was included.
Dirty toilets and clearly lacking investment in the interior. Water damage to furniture, plug sockets hanging off and a ‘cold and sterile’ atmosphere.
