Overview
The Etihad Lounge re-opened in March 2024 in partnership with Chase, after a years-long closure. While branded as “The Etihad Lounge”, the club belongs to the family of Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club lounges.

Concretely, The Etihad Lounge operates both as a Chase Sapphire Lounge, welcoming Chase Sapphire Reserve cardholders who have activated their Priority Pass membership, and as an Etihad lounge, with complimentary access for the Abu Dhabi flag carrier’s elite and premium passengers. Priority Pass members who are not Chase Sapphire Reserve customers may visit a Chase Sapphire Lounge once a year.

Bathed in daylight, the Etihad Lounge Dulles occupies two floors and boasts a dramatic window wall and expansive tarmac views. While small, measuring just 5,200 square feet, the club is gorgeously appointed and features comfortable seating with power outlets and USB ports at arm’s length, cozy nooks to rest or relax, a dining area, and semi-private workstations.

Guests will find a generous hot and cold buffet, a selection of cooked-to-order dishes, a complimentary full bar, and soda, juices, tea, and espresso.

Shower suites are available and can be booked through QR codes located throughout the lounge. Other amenities include fast Wi-Fi and a prayer room.

The Etihad Lounge at Washington, DC - Dulles (IAD) welcomes:

  • Chase Sapphire Reserve cardmembers with a Priority Pass membership, on an unlimited basis (+2 guests)
  • Priority Pass members without a Sapphire Reserve card, on a one-time per calendar year basis (subsequent visits to any location within the Sapphire Lounge by The Club network will be charged $75.)
  • Etihad First and Business Class passengers departing on a same-day flight operated by Etihad.
  • Etihad Guest Gold and Platinum members departing on a same-day flight operated by Etihad (+1 guest.)
  • All passengers, regardless of airline or destination, for $100, subject to availability.

    Nice little lounge. It was quiet enough. Interesting that there’s no signage at all on the outside that says this is a Chase Sapphire Lounge which means it’s relatively quiet.
    Easy access right off the train for A concourse.
    Cocktail I tried was nice (some kind of sour). Full bar service.
    Clean individual bathrooms.
    Food selection is limited but is pretty good. Great for a lounge.

    The QR code menu didn’t work unless I hopped on to the wifi.
