Drab. Tables are never cleared. Not even newspapers are provided.
No toilet facilities within the lounge.
Food limited to crackers, cornflakes, scones and a few cakes.
This lounge is possibly the worst lounge I have visited and certainly not worth the entrance fee, could be doing with a deep clean. The staff were polite and helpful enough but the food and drink offering is terrible. No sandwiches and not even any cheese for the 1 offering of cream crackers and the clotted cream was off so nothing to put on the stale scones other than marmalade therefore I attempted eat a pastry which was stale. The soft drinks are kept in a fridge and are plastic 1.5 litre bottles which you help yourself to…and therefore fizzy drinks are no longer carbonised after a few people have have opened the bottles previously. When I asked about if there was any cheeses available I was told no because Swissport had taken over the lounge and had no idea when restocking would happen? I have visited other lounges and normally common sense would mean a manager would at least purchase items rather than allow their customers to go without. I believe Cork Airport and Swissport have let themselves down badly and I will not be returning to this lounge in future.
Dirty lounge. Despite website stating alcohol is available, it’s not. Wouldn’t use it if it was free of charge. Probably one of the worst I have ever been in. Staff on guest, rather than welcome you, interrogate you. I’m Aer Lingus Aer Club cardholder who are the majority users. Aer Lingus should inspect this lounge immediately
