Overall ratings
We could not get in even tho they kept us trying for almost an hour. Issue was that we only had along 1 physical Venture X card (mine). So 3 persons admitted but we were 4 persons and 1 (gran)child. My wife did not have her Venture X card along. The employees said that if I could find them proof of the last 4 digits of my wife’s card on Venture X they would admit us. I worked standing in the hallway entrance with bags and family next to me for over 30 minutes getting the information they needed from my cell phone (my vision is failing at 77 yrs old). Once I found it they said it still did not work. I then asked to speak with the supervisor and he had a long explanation of why he could not do anything.
By this time, the whole family was exasperated and wanting to go somewhere (anywhere) to eat before the flight. So we gave up. It was the low point of a good trip to Cancun. The supervisor and employees have little criteria and showed no Mexican Hospitality or flexibility. So my 1 star rating.
