Overall ratings
I’m not sure why it got so many one star reviews, the check in took only a minute , the noodle is pretty good
Probably the worst lounge I have been to, especially the staff, not just at the lounge but overall at the airport have zero sense of service, hospitality or respect. Very disappointed!!
Bad experience for First Class Passengers,
all Oneworld Airlines Business and First, Amex Cardholder, Priority Card and everybody who wants to pay for. Maybe is is the reason for not nice food and cheap drinks.
The overall summary of the lounge is accurate. It is spacious and on the 2nd level of the airport centrally located to the gates.
The escalator is out so you have to take the elevator and they have two reception agents before entry to the elevator and then another three at the front desk upstairs. Obviously an intent to keep this exclusive, but ultimately just a hindrance as it took me over 15 minutes to get checked in between the two check points.
Once inside, it was packed as it serves both domestic and international travelers.
Food was horrible, imagine bacon for breakfast without eggs but the option of baked beans or potatoes? They did have some other warm offerings of Chinese Style fair, but all were unappetizing to a western pallet.
Avoid the lounge. Go to one of the restaurants in the terminal.
Internet was not even remotely friendly. The portal was in mandarin and when I asked for assistance, it requires your passport number and once on, it was slower than if I was in the air.
