Overall ratings
1 November 2023, only drinks were available in this lounge. No snacks or drinks at all, don’t waste your money for entrance.
I was extremely disappointed when I visited the Pearl lounge at Aqaba Airport on the 18th of February. My travelling companion and I paid £22 each for this service which compared very unfavourably with the Gatwick Airport No1 Lounge booking for which we paid £24 each.
The only food provided was a few mini pizzas and two varieties of stuffed bread roll. The tray of mini pizzas was not restocked when empty.
Soft drinks and beer were provided in the chillers . No spirits and mixers were available. The only other alcohol provided was a bottle of white wine and a bottle of red wine. The white wine was out on the counter, i.e. not chilled.
When I complained to the provider FHR Airport Services Ltd the response was that a Lounge Pass only provides customers with admittance to a Lounge. Also, they said that all facilities and refreshments that may be available inside any lounge are provided at the sole discretion of the Lounge Managers and are outside their control. I was refused recompense by FHR Airport Services Ltd.
