Operated by the Turkish airport services contractor TAV, the Primeclass lounge at Frankfurt airport Terminal 2 is an independent club available to all passengers on a pay-in basis, regardless of airline or class of service. The lounge also welcomes Priority Pass members.
Guests departing from Terminal 1 should allocate at least one hour to reach their gate, as they will need to re-clear immigration and security.
Primeclass Lounge FRA design
A recent addition to the Frankfurt airport lounge scene, the Primeclass lounge boasts a fresh design which marks a departure from the traditional sterile airport environment. The ensemble meshes a homely and traditional vibe with modern elements: the designers have combined comforting and traditional elements such as Earth tones, brick walls, and side consoles with bolder touches such as bright red couches.
The space receives ample daylight thanks to a large window which serves as a backdrop to the bar. Unfortunately, there are no views to speak of—an elevated train track obliterates a background of utilitarian buildings and parking lots.
The lounge is designed around a central bar area featuring inviting couches and dining tables. On either side are traditional seating zones with individual seats and side tables, as well as additional sofas along the walls. The layout feels spacious despite the relatively small footprint of the lounge, but the sofas tend to invite guests to stretch out perhaps more than necessary. Sleepers are a frequent occurrence.
Immediately behind the reception desk is a more intimate and secluded area which lacks daylight but functions well as an informal private space for families or larger parties.
Power outlets are available at every seat in the main seating areas, though they are missing from the central bar area.
Primeclass Lounge FRA amenities
The Primeclass Lounge at Frankfurt airport Terminal 2 offers a set of essential amenities.
The buffet spread includes snacks, mini-sandwiches, cold cuts, rotating hot dishes, cheese, fruit, and desserts. In the morning, passengers will find scrambled eggs, yoghurt, and other nibbles. The selection is relatively modest compared to the more substantial offering at the many Lufthansa lounges, but remains appreciated nevertheless for an independent lounge.
Drinks include a self-serve assortment of soda and juices, bottled water, and espresso. Complimentary wines and liquor are available at the bar.
The Primeclass lounge also boasts two small but elegant and well-designed shower rooms equipped with a toilet, designer sink, and hairdryer.
Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout, though there are no business amenities such as dedicated work spaces or printers otherwise.
Primeclass Lounge FRA bottom line
The Primeclass Lounge at Frankfurt airport Terminal 2 is a small but modern and well-appointed facility, with a homely décor, a simple but satisfying buffet spread, and showers. A relatively new addition to Terminal 2, the Primeclass Lounge tends to be quieter than its counterparts.

Overall ratings
The lounge is nice, comfy, great refreshments. But I believe they dont respect you much if u have Prioritypass. This lounge allows kids. Me and my three kids visited the lounge for our 8 hr layover in Frankfurt. Max time allowed with Priority pass is 3 hours. We took one of the private areas so kids wont be a bother to other guests. My kids stayed in the area and were quiet and well behaved with their gadgets. One phone call i made, the guy came and said i was loud. There was water overflowing the toilets, they immediately assumed it was one of my kids while other people were using the lounge too. I voiced my opinion and they left us alone except they would just open the curtain to the private area whenever they wanted. I felt if my husband were accompanying us they would not dare to treat us this way. Shame on you guys!
