Overall ratings
It’s my fourth visit to this Amritsar lounge… which came in worst lounge of world….everytime they sever tea coffe cold drink and sandwiches…nothing else, although they charged banks and ppl full price…My request to priority pass ppl and banks to cancel contract with this lounge…
Very very very poor service. Staff is very very ill mannered. They don’t know how to speak. Very Very Very bad experience
This review is specifically for the Primus Lounge at the Amritsar airport – it’s upstairs, across from Gate 3.
I’ve been traveling through this airport for several years, so was pleasantly surprised to see a lounge – the first and only at ATQ. Not sure when it opened, since this was my first visit to the airport since Feb 2020 … because, Covid.
Like most shared lounges, some credit cards will get you access to this lounge. Loungekey does the trick too. The staff will verify your credentials before letting you in and you have the option of paying INR 1,000 per person if your credit cards don’t come with lounge access benefit.
Save your money though – despite best intentions, this lounge is downright dismal. A few observations :
Small lounge – can seat about 20 people at max capacity. The dark decor makes it look very gloomy and claustrophobic.
Lounge does not have any wi-fi.
The carpets are *heavily* stained and you’ll find lots of food crumbs on the floor. I pointed this out to the staff and they acknowledged the carpets haven’t been cleaned ‘for some time’.
And what comes with food crumbs? Cockroaches ! And lots of them. I counted about 6 scurrying about the food serving section. You can peep through the door connecting to their kitchen/ food prep area and see that food safety hygiene is completely absent.
I asked for a veg sandwich when I walked in, but told them not to bother after seeing such poor hygiene sandwiches.
I hope someone from food safety shuts this lounge down until they get their act together.
Avoid this lounge. If you have time to kill, stroll about the area outside – it’s much cleaner, roomier and brighter. Even the new seating outside is remarkably plush.
Agree bro
Amritsar airport✈️ Primus lounge by Dream Folks is the worst lounge, very small space, the food buffet pots are blank, they don’t refill foods and very poor service and response from staff, poor hygiene ,our kid became sick with stomach pain n infection..the paneer was looking like rubber cubes ..n chicken were only oily gravy.. not recommended.
