Overall ratings
Considering there are basically no long-haul flights out of RAK, this is a very solid lounge. I found the service super attentive and the food much better than expected. Almost fell asleep on the comfy leather lounge chair. Was worth the upgrade alone.
Below average
This lounge is at the A gates for Royal Air Maroc in a kiosk in the middle of the terminal. It is beautifully laid out and well kep in terms of fresh Moroccan food and amenities such as the prayer room and business center. I didn’t see any showers and the use of the lounge has conflicting info. At the checkin it says you can purchase entry for $35EU. When I tried to purchase I was told it was free for my ticket class. Then I went to the lounge and was refused service. Furthermore I was misdirected to a nonexistent alternative lounge. While I am not terribly upset I was disappointed because I really love the airline and wanted to do a full review of my entire experience as positive and this caused it to fall short. But suffice it to say the lounge is beautiful and fitting for travels. A must try if you are at RAK Airport.
