Overall ratings
Spacious lounge with lots of seating and a large eating area. Staff cleaned up regularly. A few vegan items available. Full self-serve bar items.
Crap food ( bread and salami) , dirty and smelling toilets . How Air Canada puts its business customers here is a scam and a shame !!
Not even close to the Russian and Arab lounges. But one of the better lounges in the EU.
Terrible lounge, poor service and nothing VIP about it.
Probably the only lounge I’ve seen that’s worse than staying in the terminal…
Exactly the same in May 2023. Rude incompetent staff on check in who asked for and given boarding pass 4 times. Although booked direct and given email confirmation the 2 young ladies could not find the booking.
Cava was flat, biscuits were stale, seats worn. They need to remove the title “VIP” – this lounge is rubbish.
Awful. I spent about 15 minutes here, gazing longingly through the window at the better food options in the main concourse, before I finally gave in. One person running the food operation = long waits for everything, including water and coffee. The food and beverage options were mighty slim, none self-service. The lighting is awful, and as a result, the lounge feels about as comfy and warm as an operating room.
Horrendous. Overcrowded, terrible food choices and the cleaning staff were practically throwing dishes into their cart making the loudest noises. This is far from a relaxing lounge
Terrible when compared to airline lounges at places like Heathrow. No hot food. Horrible snacks.
Lounge was over crowded, had to cue up to gain access for 30 minutes, food was ordinary and not much of variety, tables were not cleared for the time i was in lounge approx 1 1/2 hours, positives: chairs were comfortable when we actually found one available.
A beautiful lounge with a very complete meal service, comfortable (though not extensive) seating.
Reading material was limited but I guess acceptable and no real view on the outside world.. windows just viewed onto the airport shops, then the runways etc further afield
Dont forget this is past passport control, whereas Pau Casals VIP lounge is before it so if you need to board, may be a little stressful waiting to go thru passsport control
if you have 60mins to lose in BCN T1 airport, it is best choice
Although the endless small rolls were nice and choice of hams and cheese, there was no hot food offering. Drinks choices were good with a decent cava as well and promptly stocked up
Just 2 choices of UK newspapers, Daily Mail and Telegraph which were quickly gone, wifi didnt quite work properly – a bit slow when finally connected
good clean modern toilets
