Remodeled in 2024, the South African Airways Premium Lounge at Gqeberha Chief Dawid Stuurman Airport, also known as “The Lounge” sports a fresh new look and luxurious amenities.

Conceived in partnership with partnership with Discovery, The Lounge welcomes South African Airways premium and Star Alliance Gold customers, as well as Discovery Bank Platinum, Black and Purple card holders, and Investec Visa Infinite, Platinum, Business and Youth cardholders. Credit card holders can visit the lounge no matter which airline they’re flying.

The club features a refined, timelessly elegant decor. Guests have their choice of solo seats, tabletop seating, communal tables, dining tables, and plush armchairs overlooking the runway. The two walls of windows let plenty of daylight into the lounge and reveal expansive views over the airport grounds.

The Lounge boasts an impressive choice of amenities, especially considering that the club caters to domestic travelers. In additions to the essentials such as Wi-Fi and power outlets, patrons will find a hot buffet and a bar staffed by trained bartenders and baristas.
