Overview
Located on the top floor of the Terminal 1 Premium Lounge, the Star Alliance Lounge at Guangzhou Baiyun Airport is a dedicated space for premium and elite passengers traveling with Star Alliance carriers, including Air China, ANA, Asiana , EGYPTAIR, Ethiopian Airlines, EVA Air, Shenzhen Airlines, Singapore Airlines, THAI, and Turkish Airlines.

Opened in November 2024, the Star Alliance Lounge Guangzhou boasts an impressive floor-to-ceiling window wall, comfortable seating, a tea area, shower suites, and a hot and cold buffet. There is also a large multi-purpose space that can be reserved for VIPs or business meetings.

The design and amenities are ultimately pretty modest, and the space looks like it was hastily put together. Indeed, the location is ultimately temporary: down the road, Star Alliance will move to the airport’s new Terminal 3, which is currently under construction.

  • First Class passengers, departing on the same day on a flight operated by a Star Alliance member airline from the local airport (+1 guest)
  • Business Class passengers, departing on the same day on a flight operated by a Star Alliance member airline from the local airport (no guests.)
  • Star Alliance Gold passengers, departing on the same day on a flight operated by a Star Alliance member airline from the local airport, in any class of service (+1 guest)
  • United Club members departing on a Star Alliance flight (no guests)
  • Air Canada Maple Leaf Club members departing on a Star Alliance flight (no guests)
  • Customers holding an invitation issued by an airline.

Guests must be departing on the same day on a flight operated by a Star Alliance member airline.
