An exclusive haven for HON Circle Members and SWISS First Class customers, the new SWISS First Class Lounge at Zurich Airport Dock A offers an integrated check-in, security, and pre-flight experience.
Eligible passengers can bypass the traditional check-in counter and head straight to the lounge, which comes with its own private check-in facility and security checkpoint. Upon request SWISS will store passengers’ winter coats for the duration of their trip—an unconventional but smart service allowing customers departing to warmer destinations to travel lighter.
Once through checkin and security, passengers flying outside the Schengen zone are driven to the First Class Lounge in Dock E, while Schengen passengers are invited to enjoy the amenities of the new lounge.
Design
At 7,000 square feet (650 square meters), the new SWISS First Class Lounge at Zurich Airport Dock A is significantly more spacious than its former incarnation, which is situated in a different location and has now closed. The design has also evolved remarkably, reflecting the Swiss culture and art of living.
Inspired by the design of the Dock E (non-Schengen) lounge, the First Class Lounge features semi-private spaces with an oak parquet floor, Vitra and de Sede furniture, Jura limestone walls, and a subdued palette of natural tones.
Amenities
At the epicenter of the lounge is a bar and buffet area with live cooking stations and barista service. The bar boasts a selection of specialty coffees, and a wide assortment of alcoholic beverages including over 100 Swiss grapas.
SWISS also offers full-service dining service, with an a-la-carte menu—an extraordinary perk for short-haul travel.

Brand new lounge, great design, very nice. It can get a bit crowded, however still very god. Staff is friendly but not very pro-active (Terminal E lounge has better service).

Brand new lounge, very nice modern design with lots of wood. Nice bar and restaurant section and nice seating areas which are designed in a way that you have good privacy. One small downside: lounge is relatively small and can get crowded when busy.
Overall one of the best first class lounges worldwide.
Good food and beverage selection, good quality.
There are some private meeting rooms as well and a quiet zone. And there is also a smokers lounge. Very nice shower facilities.
Great: you do security check there do. no queue, really a great service. Also immigration is done separately and there is a shuttle service to the international terminal- perfect service.
