Overall ratings
I’ve been coming to the Turkish Air lounge for years. During this time, I have been giving consistently lower ratings for the following reasons.
First, it it always too full. There are two lounges in MIA. The one in termi al D/E frequently has li es to get in, and the one in terminal H frequently refuses entry unless you have business class tickets.
The second d reason is the food. It is not too bad, but it has declined. They used to have baklava!!! Not anymore. The existing sandwiches are 98% bread.
This lounge is flexible, and it accepts many cards and airlines. This drives the huge crowds.
The staf is roude except the front desk.
Limited food, people on top of each other, one wc (stall) for the whole lounge!!
I tried to visit the lounge (August 2023), I am a bit disappointed the lounge wasn’t accessible from H departures concourse. All elevators, escalators and stairs were out of service or blocked off and access restricted.
This lounge is terrible. People on top of each other and people laying on the floor. Limited snacks at best. Save your money and avoid this dump.
Good layout but limited food
Visited the lounge in April 2022, some COVID restrictions are still in place. The food & beverage are was roped off, and only a staff member could give you what you asked for. The options were quite limited, and the poor staff member was alone and very overwhelmed, there was a constant line of people waiting to get stuff. It differs quite a lot from IAD, where hot food was very much back and self-service already in November 2021.
