Overall ratings
What a zoo! Overcrowded, front desk staff unfriendly. Walked in then walked right back out again!
6.30pm on 12th October. Snacks: plain crisps. Beer: Guiness and Coors light- the latter as undrinkable as Fosters in the UK. Which Australians NEVER drink! Gin and tonic then. “No tonics, delivery didn’t come” glass of sparkling wine? “No. Pinot Grigio or Chardonnay”. Fair enough, OK. Food? Good buffet. With fruit and soup too. Seating? Comfy, airy and spacious. Nice views. Crowding? None.
Overall? Hmm. Have to rate it against UK Heathrow, Singapore, Maldives (Muslim, no alcohol), Sydney, BA mainly in UK, Virgin Atlantic too. 5 star Virgin 4 BA. Others 3 to 4. Calgary around 2. Signposting to it was nigh on invisible. Took 2 airport staff to direct us. All other airports clearly signpost their lounges.
Overall? Functional but uninspiring.
Disappointing. Although spacious and clean, I find it inadmissible to have virtually nothing to eat for breakfast, as well as cereals, yogurt and bananas … In addition, the bar is closed until 11:00 am. Bathroom dirty and poorly maintained … Disappointing …
