The club welcomes Air France and KLM premium passengers, SkyTeam international business class customers, and SkyTeam Elite Plus members traveling internationally.
Designed by studio SGK Brandimage, the Air France Lounge LAX sports the French flag carrier’s elegant design language, which is also on display at the San Francisco (SFO) location. The decor incorporates subtle branding elements—such as Air France’s winged seahorse—within a palette of matte blues, greys, and Earth tones with chic red accents.
Spreading over 12,000 sq. ft. (1,100 sq.m.), the club accommodates 172 passengers in open, airy, and luminous surroundings.
Guests will find a variety of seating options, including inviting booths by the windows, tabletop seating, traditional lounge chairs, and a communal table. The furniture pays homage to French creators, with Ester chairs by Patrick Jouin, Ribbon armchairs by Pierre Paulin, and a coffee table by Charlotte Perriand. Power outlets and USB ports are available at every seat.
Situated at the heart of the lounge, the tended bar and self-service buffet are meant to emulate a French brasserie. The culinary offerings naturally emphasize French flair, with highlights such as Monkfish Provencale, Beef Bourguignon, and braised chicken.
Shower suites are available to guests who wish to freshen up.
The Air France LAX lounge features a complimentary spa operated in partnership with Clarins, just like the carrier’s locations at Paris Charles de Gaulle airport. (The spa is scheduled to open in September 2024.) With just two treatments booths, though, getting an appointment might be a long shot; customers are advised to sign up as early as possible. La Première (First Class) passengers have priority and can pre-book spa appointments.
Speaking of La Première guests, the lucky few enjoy a dedicated, fully-private area with posh furniture, expansive tarmac views, a private seating area, and personalized service. Flying Blue Ultimate customers have their own cordoned-off seating area near the buffet.
For SkyTeam passengers, the Air France Lounge offers an excellent alternative to the venerable and tired Korean Air KAL Business Class Lounge, though it should be noted that while the KAL Lounge is centrally located in the main terminal’s dramatic atrium, the Air France Lounge is situated in the remote mid-field terminal.

Overall ratings
Beautiful new lounge. Food was great, beautiful bar and two buffet areas. Reserved area for La Premiere. Take the elevator from the west gate tunnel straight up to the lounge level. Staff was confused that I was accessing the lounge while flying with another Skyteam carrier and had to check. Was completely empty when I arrived at 9am and only 3 other passengers when I left at 11am. Lunch comes out 11:45am
