Opened late march 2018, the American Express The Centurion Lounge at Melbourne airport is the second American Express-branded club in Australia.

Following in the footsteps of the popular Sydney location, the club is managed by Plaza Premium, the largest airport lounge operator worldwide. The company operates an adjacent pay-in lounge under their own brand, and facilities such as the kitchen and bathrooms are shared across the two clubs.

Located in international Terminal 2, the Centurion Lounge is located next to the Singapore Airlines Lounge, in the footprint of the former United Club. Access is complimentary for holders of the American Express Platinum card.

Amenities include a full hot buffet, alcoholic beverages, barista coffee, and a business center.
