Overview
Opened in February 24th, 2020, the American Express Centurion Lounge at Charlotte Douglas International airport welcomes exclusively American Express Platinum and Centurion Card members and their guests.

Spreading over 13,000 square feet, the Centurion Lounge Charlotte is one of American Express’ larger clubs worldwide.

The elegantly-appointed retreats features large windows overlooking the tarmac, a posh seating area, convenient work spaces, and a large dining zone.

The complimentary hot buffet, curated by chef Joe Kindred, showcases Southern-leaning cuisine.

Amenities include power outlets, fast Wi-Fi, newspapers and magazines, a printer, shower suites, a family room, and a complimentary full bar with cocktails curated by mixologist Jim Meehan.

American Express The Centurion Lounge at Charlotte, NC - Charlotte Douglas (CLT) welcomes:

  • American Express Centurion® Card holders (+2 guests or immediate family)
  • American Express Platinum Card® holders within 3 hours of departure of their first flight, and at any connection points (no access at final destination.) (See notes below for guest policy.)
  • Delta SkyMiles Reserve American Express Card holders departing on a flight operated by Delta, within 3 hours of departure of their first flight, and at any connection points (no access at final destination.) No guests allowed.
  • Delta SkyMiles Reserve Business American Express Card holders departing on a flight operated by Delta, within 3 hours of departure and at connection points (no access at final destination.) No guests allowed.

Notes:

  • Access requires confirmed travel plans. Standby boarding passes are not eligible.
  • American Express Platinum Card® holders may not bring guests on a complimentary basis but can may purchase access for guests for $50 per adult and $30 per child (ages 2-17, proof of age required.)
  • American Express Platinum Card® holders who spend $75,000 or more on eligible purchases during a calendar year receive complimentary guest access for up to two guests per visit for the current calendar year, the next year, and through January of the following year.

  • Buttermilk Fried Chicken with Carolina Slaw and Alabama White Sauce

Coffee and tea: Centurion Lounge Custom Coffee, Espresso, Cappuccino.

(Bloody Marys, Mimosas, Screwdrivers, Bailey’s Irish Cream, beer, and wine are available on Mondays to Saturdays between 7 am and 10:30 am.)

    Excellent lounge and makes my experience at CLT so much better when I can visit. Definitely worth the visit.

    This is a great lounge but it is always crowded. If you can get in and get a table it is worth it. I would head to another lounge though if there is a line.

    The food and cocktails are just fantastic. A lot of diverse seating options and a large space. I arrived around 4pm on a Thursday and it was packed. I barely found a table. But they clear the space quickly and are very responsive to the volume. Still a positive experience.
