Asiana Lounge Business Class West ICN design
Bathed in daylight, the Asiana Lounge West at Incheon airport occupies an expansive space featuring a high arching ceiling and a dramatic window wall overlooking the tarmac.
The location of the lobby, at the junction of two wings, reflects the expansion of the club that took place in the last few years. Make a left from the reception desk, and you’ll enter the original space, or make a right and you’ll reach the swanky expansion, which is twice as large as the original lounge.
The new wing boasts a warm and inviting living-room décor.
Two graciously curved bookcases with a variety of books and artwork delineate the center of the space, where a grand piano stands as the focal point of the design.
The alliance of dark wood, earth tones, hardwood floors, and dark red furniture give the lounge an elegant yet bold and modern vibe.
Guests have their choice of individual seats, booths, and dining tables, all outfitted with power outlets embedded in side tables or in the ground.
There are also oversized seats in a theater arrangement around a curved flat TV, as well as tabletop seating by the windows, for a prime view on the tarmac.
The opposite wing—the original lounge, located across the lobby—feels more compact and busier, but the views are equally dramatic.
Despite the more limited real estate, privacy is a paramount element of the design, with low partitions that carve out TV lounges, a cozy seating area by the bookcase, and four exquisite semi-enclosed individual spaces, each appointed with a comfortable armchair, an ottoman, a side table, and a swivel lamp.
Asiana Lounge Business Class West ICN amenities

Asiana Lounge Business Class West ICN bottom line
The Asiana Business Class Lounge West at Seoul Incheon airport boasts an elegant high-end design and an enjoyable range of amenities.
There are a few crown jewels, such as the semi-private rooms and massage booths. On the other hand, the food and beverage selection isn’t especially remarkable.
- The light-filled space and tall ceilings.
- The posh décor and the library theme.
- The private spaces.
- The somewhat limited array of food and beverages.
Overall ratings
Very poor for a Staraliance lounge, the drinks and WiFi ok but food poor and noisy.
The place is extremely worn, the food selection and quality SUCKS, and it’s way too crowded even though it is quite spacious. Only good aspects are the fast wifi and nice shower rooms.
Rubbish! Very poor food and drink selection (no hot chocolate, for goodness sake), very dark and shabby.
This lounge need updates. They haven’t done much since this place opened while ago. Carpet is worn out and smelly. Three out of six massage chairs are out of order. Chairs are in bad shape. Perhaps chairs can be removed and use the spaces for private resting areas. It was nice when they first opened, however it need upkeep and updates.
The lounge was very crowded and among the less inviting i have been to. As many have shared limited alcohol choices and i would rate the food as almost uneatable, even when hungry. Mushy noodles, not really that appetizing at all.
It’s NOT a good lounge base on OZ mian airport in ICN. No much choices for foods specifically, But it seems to be the only lounge that star alliance members allow to use.
Note. Priority Pass members not admitted when I tried. Staff said that the lounge was busy therefore Priority Pass members not allowed.
An excellent lounge overall, save for the somewhat limited food options.
