Overall ratings
I tried to use this lounge on January 11, 2019 around 7 PM UK time and I encountered the most rude receptionist. I was told the lounge was full even though I can see people leaving and that there is space for one person. She told me that 3 planes are coming in and she cannot accept new guests. I told her that what she means is that the lounge will be full and not currently full. She rudely asked me to come back after one hour and she will be able to let me in since my flight is at 10 PM. I did not have the energy to argue with her and went to the No 1 lounge nearby.
This is a great lounge, staffed by the most friendly people of any airport lounge I have experienced. I have been there in recent weeks and was so warmly welcomed by R***, who seems to attend personally to all visitors. She and her colleagues provide a most enjoyable, attentive and welcoming experience.
Try this lounge and see for yourself. You’ll surely love it.
Lounge is small and crowded. Food was ok. Not great but also not bad. Staff has not been rude like some comments suggest, everyone has been polite. Bathrooms are abysmal! Dirty! No toilet paper! Wet and grime! Thank goodness I had Lysol and wipes! The toilets outside this lounge have been cleaner. You don’t get much for platinum status. But it is what it is. I can live with that but basics like toilet paper and a clean bathroom would be good.
