The IASS Executive Lounge at Tokyo Narita Airport Terminal 1 is one of several lounges for holders of premium credit cards issued in Japan. The club also welcomes members of popular lounge access programs such as Priority Pass and Dragon Pass.
The IASS Executive Lounge is located before security. From the check-in concourse, make your way to the dining and shopping area located at the junction between the North and South wings, then go up to the 5th floor (top level.) Follow the signs to “Rental Lounge.”
IASS Executive Lounge NRT design
The IASS Executive Lounge at Tokyo Narita Airport Terminal 1 is a compact room in a somewhat inconspicuous area. The design aims at packing as many guests as possible within the limited real estate, with rows of bench-style seats facing each other. There is also limited tabletop seating.
The narrow and upright seats are mildly comfortable and are neither a great fit for work nor relaxation. On the brighter side, club room is blissfully quiet—as expected with a majority Japanese clientele—and better air-conditioned than the public concourse. Each seat pair comes with a power outlet and a USB port.
The lounge has a small window and receives daylight, though there is no view. Due to space restrictions, guests are invited to leave large bags in the reception area.
IASS Executive Lounge NRT amenities
The IASS Executive Lounge at Tokyo Narita Airport Terminal 1 is meant for short stays and lacks substantial amenities.
Guests will find a soda dispenser, an espresso machine, and a water cooler. The only food item is an unremarkable snack mix. Patrons are eligible for a single complimentary beer or whiskey, which be promptly delivered by a friendly attendant upon request from the reception desk.
There are no bathrooms inside the lounge, though large and clean facilities are available nearby.
Wi-Fi is fast and complimentary. A selection of newspapers and magazines is also available.
IASS Executive Lounge NRT bottom line
The IASS Executive Lounge at Tokyo Narita Airport Terminal 1 is essentially a quiet and pleasantly air-conditioned place to sit and catch up on work. The club tends to be busy due to the generous access policy; it provides little privacy, and there are no notable amenities to speak of.
As an alternative, Priority Pass members may want to consider the adjacent T.E.I Lounge, which while equally bare and even less attractive, is typically quieter. Passengers in transit between international flights benefit from complimentary access to the Rassurants Traveler’s Lounge.

Overall ratings
No food and only limited beverages. Just a place to sit essentially.
A basic and busy lounge before security with a seating area and soft drinks, offering access to a wide range of credit card holders. There’s no reason to go unless you don’t have any other alternative.
