Poor signage, hard to find. Small lounge, air-conditioned. BUT no food is offered, nor alcoholic beverages. At least the host informed me of the limited services before I used one of my lounge passes to enter.
The IASS HAWAII LOUNGE is located in the Garden Court Area, Central Concourse, Main Building of the Honoluulu International Airport. After Security Checks, proceed to Garden Court (Airline Lounge Area) towards Gates 14-23 of the Central Concourse. Take the elevator or stairs to Ground Level and follow the signs to the Lounge.
I checked in hours early for my flight because I enjoy making use of my complementary Priority Pass membership, a perk of the American Express Platinum card that grants entry to hundreds of airport lounges. So today I thought I`d check out the IASS lounge. I was entering close to closing time so the attendant rolled her eyes and directed me to go to the Admirals Club, the lounge for American Airlines. I told her that I just wanted to see the lounge and I would only take one minute so she said ok.
It takes less than one minute to see the lounge as it is only one room that seems to be filled with old hotel leftover furniture. I guess it`s better than nothing but not by much. After taking pictures, I was out the door and on my way to the Admirals Club as directed. See my pictures.
No food.
