Access rules
Lufthansa Senator Lounge at New York, NY - John F. Kennedy (JFK) welcomes:
- Lufthansa and SWISS First Class passengers departing or arriving on the same day.
- Miles & More HON Circle Members departing or arriving on a same-day Lufthansa, Star Alliance or codeshare partner flight (Air Dolomiti, Air Malta, Eurowings, LATAM Brasil.)
- Star Alliance First Class passengers departing the same day. (Arriving passengers are not eligible unless they have an onwards connection.)
- Miles & More Senator members departing or arriving on a same-day Lufthansa, Star Alliance or codeshare partner flight (Air Dolomiti, Air Malta, Eurowings, LATAM Brasil.)
- Star Alliance Gold passengers departing on the same day on a Star Alliance flight in any class of service. (Arriving passengers are not eligible unless they have an onwards connection.)
- Eurowings SMART and BEST fare passengers who also hold Miles&More HON or Senator status departing on a same-day flight (no guests.)
- Eurowings passengers who also hold Star Alliance Gold status with United or ANA departing on a same-day flight (no guests.)
Guest policy
- Lufthansa and SWISS First Class passengers: one guest, plus spouse or partner, plus children under the age of 18.
- Star Alliance First Class passengers: one guest.
- Miles & More HON Circle members: one guest, plus spouse or partner, plus children under the age of 18.
- Miles & More Senator members: one guest, plus children under the age of 18.
Guests must be departing on the same flight as the passenger who invited them.

Very quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Food was good with numerous choices. Staff was very nice.
Seems like this place went from good to bad since my last visit back in May. I came Oct 5 and the servers are clueless on everything. Couldn’t even make a martini. Why be at the bar if you even make that? Even worse most of them couldn’t even tell me the wines they offered without having to look at them for a few seconds. I don’t know what happened in the last few months since I last came but hopefully Lufthansa takes note. Such a disappointment!
Although among one of the high quality lounges I have been, the reception is as dull and cold can be. Today, she had my boarding pass and handed back to me. Not a single greeting or welcome at all! This is rude, someone needs to tell.
An elegant lounge with an expansive buffet, great drink selection and showers. It can get a bit crowded.
