Great lounge for food and refreshments, if there is any criticism it is that too much room is taken up by the dining area to the detriment of lounge area.
Outstanding quality, truly first class. Excellent wine selection, multiple french champagnes, and very good food (in association with Rockpool, a famous Sydney restaurant). Next to Emirates first class lounge in Dubai the best lounge I’ve ever been to.
This is an outstanding lounge in every respect and the flagship for Qantas.
Three types of French champagne, top quality wines, premium beers and spirits and freshly cooked gourmet style food that you order a-la-carte and brought to your table by the personable wait staff.
The room has expansive views over much of the tarmac and chairs comfortable enough to snooze in.
If you can time your entry, you might get the tail end of breakfast and still be there to enjoy lunch before your flight!
A true experience.
Great Lounge with sensational view – overlooking the apron and runway with the Sydney Skyline in the background. Lots of different seating-areas with plenty of seats available. You can relax in the library, sit at the bar or in the restaurant or just enjoy comfortable relax-chairs with one of the finest view of any airport-lounge. Staff is very nice and relaxed. Very impressive is the entrance: you pass a hanging garden and then the escalator takes you up into the lounge.
Self-service buffet and bar with fine choice of food and beverages. Best place to eat however is the restaurant featuring great food, fantastic apron-view and the nicest service we had in quite some time. Much more relaxed than in other First-Class lounges tht we have been. Since there was no table available right away for our family they promised to let us know when one is ready. Within 5 minutes they called us and gave us a great table right by the window. Food was very tasty.
The lounge offers all the stuff you exspect like free WIFI, Newspapers and magazines, TV and flight-information display. There also is a library and work-area.
