Overall ratings
I travel quite extensively in Africa, and I do not exaggerate that this lounge is an inferior alternative to what most airports in capitals of that continent have to offer. As noted by the previous reviewer, the toilets are absolutely filthy. Since there are only 3-4 of them on top of that, there are often lines to use them. Moreover, the lounge is severely understaffed. Which leads to a general filthiness which is just unacceptable.
There is no way this is a gold lounge!
Bathroom is dated, filthy and small. Food selection is exactly like a silver lounge in Munchen for example. Drinks selection is worst: draft pilsner beer, 1 kind, bad. Draft red and white wine, 1 kind, worst. That’s it. I have significantly more drinks options in my little home town silver lounge in Romania 🙁
Sitting area is nice, not spectacular, just nice.
Let me say it again: there is no way this can be considered a gold lounge!
Lounge is a little bit hidden in the terminal. And has now windows for a look onto the airport area.
Coffee, Soft drinks and a soup… that’s it…
