Opened in January 2025, the Emirates Lounge at Bangkok airport Satellite 1 is the Middle Eastern carrier’s largest club outside Dubai. Spanning 1,454 square meters, the lounge accommodates up to 250 guests—a enormous capacity justified by Emirates’ two simultaneous A380 departures.

A haven for First and Business Class passengers and Skywards Gold and Platinum members, the Emirates Lounge Bangkok features all the comforts and luxuries that the airline’s passengers have come to expect: comfortable seating, well-appointed showers, a self-service bar, and a superior hot and cold buffet featuring international fare and Thai desserts.

Note that while technically eligible, Qantas passengers do not have access to the Emirates Lounge Bangkok as Qantas flights depart from the main terminal, which is physically separated from the satellite building.

The Emirates Lounge at Bangkok - Suvarnabhumi (BKK) welcomes:

Emirates First class passengers (+1 guest)
Emirates Business class passengers (no guests)
Emirates Skywards Gold and Platinum members departing on an Emirates flight (+1 guest + paid guests)
Emirates Economy class passengers, on a pay-in basis.

Guests must be traveling on the same flight. Skywards Platinum and Gold tier members can purchase access for additional guests.

The lounge itself is nice, however it was a 20 minute walk away from our gate which was at the opposite end of the airport (no fast transit options)
We were told that the distance involved was because an A380 cannot use the gates nearest the lounge, which given the fact that Emirates overwhelmingly uses that plane type makes the lounge location very strange.
