United operates two spacious lounges at Denver International Airport, at either end of concourse B: the United Club East is situated near gate B44, while the United Club West is located on the other side of the concourse, near gate B32. The two clubs have similar layouts and offer the same amenities.
United Club East DEN design
Located above the concourse, the United Club East at Denver airport boasts floor-to-ceiling windows and sweeping views of the tarmac and the striking Jeppesen Terminal. On clear days, the vista stretches all the way to the mountains in the distance, while at dusk, the airport’s acclaimed peak roofs glow gracefully.
After suffering years of neglect, the United Club East recently received a face lift and now bears a striking resemblance with its sister West location. The space was outfitted with a new carpet, modern furniture, and power outlets at every seat. United has stopped short of giving the venerable club a true makeover, though. Paint is still peeling off in the hallway leading to the bathroom, and the new furniture looks somewhat out of place along the wooden partitions from another era.
The club is organized in four quadrants around the escalators that rise from the concourse level. On the left side when entering is a seating and work area. The right side, which is typically busier and more vibrant, hosts the bar and a dining area.
Patrons will find their choice of shared high-top work tables, counter-style work spaces along the window, and individual seats outfitted with a side console and a lamp. Slightly hidden away, opposite the reception and customer service area, is a small section with egg chairs around convivial coffee tables.
At the periphery of the main area are various hallways, dead-ends and nooks leading to now-defunct conference rooms (now staff areas), bathrooms, and a cavernous business center with a series of work cubicles. Hopefully, one day a more substantial remodel will modernize and open the space further.
United Club East DEN amenities
Despite Denver International Airport’s hub status within United’s network, the two United Clubs offer only basic amenities geared at domestic travelers.
The food selection includes snacks, salads, fresh fruit, and sweets. The United Club is not equipped to serve hot food, and pickings are typically slim. Drinks wise, guests will find infused water, soda, Illy espresso, and a variety of teas. House wines, sparkling wine, and well drinks are complimentary at the bar, while premium cocktails are available for purchase.
Other amenities include fast Wi-Fi, a selection of newspapers and magazines, as well as access to Foli, an online press and media library.
United Club East DEN bottom line
The United Club East at Denver airport Concourse B is spacious, functional, luminous, but unremarkable. The lounge provides all the essentials—fast Wi-Fi, snacks, drinks, power outlets, and a comfortable place to work—but the decor is dated, and amenities are limited.
Despite United’s international service expansion from Denver, there are no plans for a Polaris Lounge, so international premium passengers should come with low expectations: there are no showers, hot food, or relaxation rooms at the United Club.

Overall ratings
Worst lounge I have ever seen. Extremely worn leather seats and upholstered furniture. Stains all over the carpets, sticky seats. Tables are cleaned after 2 hours for the first time. Review is about East Lounge.
Renovations are much needed. Use the West club in the meantime!
