Overview

Opened in January 2012, the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse at New York’s Kennedy airport spreads across 10,000 sq, ft. and features a variety of options to relax and work. The design of the lounge is inspired by Uptown Manhattan with leather-lined seating carved into oversized stones, black wool-lined pods in the walls, and an entertainment zone with a huge red ball sofa.

You can order food anywhere in the Clubhouse. For more formal dining experience, take a seat in the brassiere dining area, where you will bee served a-la-carte meals, desserts and fine wines.

Important: Outside Virgin Atlantic departure times (typically in the mornings), the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse operates as a Priority Pass lounge. During Priority Pass opening times, services and amenities are limited and do not reflect the breadth of Virgin Atlantic’s ground services.

Virgin Atlantic Upper Class passengers departing on a same-day flight (+1 guest)
Virgin Atlantic Flying Club Gold members departing on a same-day Virgin Atlantic flight (+1 guest)
International First and Business Class passengers connecting to/from a same-day international flight operated by a SkyTeam member airline.
SkyTeam Elite Plus members departing on or connecting to/from a same-day international flight operated by a SkyTeam member airline, in any class of service (+1 guest)
Virgin Australia Velocity Platinum and Gold members departing on a same-day flight Virgin Atlantic flight (+1 guest)

Notes:

Guests must be traveling on any flight operated by a SkyTeam member airline. Member must remain with the guests at all times during the visit.
Lounge access will be provided only at your departure airport and not on arrival, unless you are connecting to a domestic flight or other qualifying international flight.

Ala carte options are probably good for booze lovers but there’s only about 5 different food options including a soup, pita hummus (which was pretty good) and pasta for today’s menu. Clean ambiance and the orders get served pretty swiftly.
