Overview

Virgin Atlantic’s flagship Clubhouse at Heathrow airport is full of stylish features and interior accessories. The lounge boasts leather upholstered sofas with center armrests that flip open to reveal power and data points for laptops. On 2,500 sq.m., guests may rest and work in different areas and enjoy views of the tarmac.

At the heart of the Clubhouse is the lively bar area, featuring a 14-meter long cocktail bar.

The lounge features six distinct different areas for relaxation: Poolside Lounge: an oasis of tranquility to relax with a ceiling-to-floor Japanese water wall; The Lodge: a specially designed viewing deck with apres-ski vibe and great views of the runway; The Loft: a white marble stairway leading to a space with sloping windows and views of the departing aircraft; Spa with a relaxing spa pool, sauna, steam room and hairdressing salon. Guests can choose to have one of the complimentary treatments or can upgrade to one or the specialized services.

A full-service restaurant is available in the Brasserie, with breakfast, lunch, dinner and supper services. Sandwiches, bagels, cold meats, seafood, salads, and special items are available at the Deli (seafood, prawns, spicy Spanish olives or chorizo). Self-serve snacks and drinks are also available at the Poolside Lounge

Other amenities include a business center, a library, a family room, and games.

Important: The Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse at Heathrow airport does not follow the traditional SkyTeam lounge access rules. The Clubhouse is primarily for business class passengers, with limited exceptions. SkyTeam Elite members traveling in Economy or Premium Economy do not have access to the Clubhouse and are invited to visit the Club Aspire Lounge. For more details, check the Access tab.

Virgin Atlantic Upper Class passengers departing on a same-day flight (+1 guest)
Delta One passengers departing on a same-day flight (no guests)
Aeromexico Clase Premier passengers departing on a same-day flight (no guests)
Virgin Atlantic Flying Club Gold members departing on a same-day Virgin Atlantic, Delta, or Aeromexico flight (no guests)
Delta SkyMiles Diamond and Platinum members departing on a same-day Virgin Atlantic or Delta flight in Premium Economy (no guests)
Flying Blue Platinum members departing on a same-day Virgin Atlantic or Delta flight in Premium Economy (no guests)

Notes:

SkyTeam Elite members traveling in Economy or Premium Economy are invited to visit the Club Aspire Lounge.
Guests must be traveling on any flight operated by a SkyTeam member airline. Member must remain with the guests at all times during the visit.
Lounge access will be provided only at your departure airport and not on arrival, unless you are connecting to a domestic flight or other qualifying international flight.

This lounge is fantasic and offers just about anything. Much better than most of the First Class lounges of other airlines. Many different areas to sit, relax, eat and drink and work, as well as many options for entertainment. Only setback was the fact that it was quite crowded and we could not get a seat in the restaurant or even in the normal seating area. Luckily there was space available in the wodka-bar so we could sit down a few minutes before our flight. Staff was friendly.

The club house offers a large bar in the main-area and a wodka bar upstairs. There is a self-service buffet an a restaurant. To bad we could not get a seat there to sample the food.

This lounge just offers every possible amenity and plenty of ways to spend your time. Working-area, entertainment zone with large TV-screens and even a billard-table. There is a spa area and a roof garden.
