Spanning an impressive 20,000 square feet—just shy the of New York LaGuardia’s two-story, 21,800 square feet location—the Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club at Philadelphia Airport is a true haven of luxury.
The Chase Sapphire Lounge welcomes Chase Sapphire Reserve cardmembers who have activated their (complimentary) Priority Pass membership. If you’ve purchased a retail Priority Pass membership or hold a membership issued by another financial institution, you can visit the lounge once a year on a complimentary basis, but subsequent visits will cost you $75. Think of it as a teaser.
Situated in the connector between Terminals D and E, the Chase Sapphire Lounge is accessible to all passengers, regardless of airline or destination: all terminals are connected airside. It’s a long walk from Terminals A and B, though, so keep that in mind if connecting between American Airlines flights (the carrier has two Admirals Club locations in Terminal A and Terminal B, but they don’t compare.)
Visually, the The Chase Sapphire Lounge Philadelphia is both familiar and striking. The space is gorgeous. Bathed in daylight, it features the financial’ institution celebrated residential design: an elegant alliance of warm tones, high-end materials and finishes, tastefully-furnished bookcases, and vibrant artwork, including a mural by local artist James Burns of Mural Arts Philadelphia. You’ll find plush curved sofas, a gorgeous bar and living room area, recessed semi-private nooks, convenient communal tables, and plenty of booth seating, along with expansive tarmac views. The sheer curtains add a subtle touch of understated elegance.
The list of amenities is downright impressive. Let’s start with the culinary offerings: Chase has partnered with Middle Child Clubhouse to curate a Philadelphia-inspired menu, which features a variety of hot and cold favorites, as well as a choice of a-la-carte options. Consider enjoying a local craft beer or a complimentary glass of wine and cocktail to elevate your experience.
American Express’ food and beverage game is strong, too, but Chase truly stands apart with the incredible list of additional amenities of services—and they’re all complimentary.
Families will enjoy the large kid’s room outfitted with toys and games. But kids at heart will make a beeline for the striking game room, which is equipped with Nintendo Switch game consoles and retro arcade games (there’s also an impressive display of sports memorabilia.) Oh, and the tap room is located right across, and it has additional games, including a foosball table.
If you’re longing for a quieter experience, stop by the sprawling wellness center or flash the QR code to make a reservation. You’ll find six six meditation and rest areas separated by privacy curtains, two treatment rooms offering facial treatments, and two spacious shower suites with rainshowers.
