The lounge was renovated early 2016, and now boasts a truly elegant design, with a solid range of amenities and a generous buffet.
Located on a mezzanine, the lounge overlooks the world class concourse. On the flip side, there is typically little daylight.
The open space features a variety of seating arrangements, with traditional chairs and side tables, as well as high-backed chairs by the edge of the mezzanine which provide a higher degree of privacy. Low partitions with magazine racks break out the space. Universal power outlets are available at every seat.
The food and beverage selection stands out. The buffet offers a wide variety of hot and cold options with an emphasis on international dishes. The selection is constantly replenished, and while the fare is simple overall, the selection is sufficient for a quick meal on the ground. A selection of self-serve wines and liquor is also available.
A few elegant shower suites are available, a rarity for a contract lounge and a welcome treat on those sweltering Singapore days. Be sure to inquire early as there may be a waitlist.
Note that while they receive an invitation to the SATS Premier Lounge, United passengers do have access to the adjacent Singapore Airlines lounges. Star Alliance Gold customers flying in economy may use the Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer Gold lounge, which features a more appealing design but disappoints in terms of amenities (the KrisFlyer Gold lounge does not have showers unlike the SATS Premier Lounge.) Business and First Class passengers, however, should definitely use the Singapore Airlines Silver Kris Lounge and First Class lounge respectively, which are Singapore Airlines’ flagship clubs and world-class facilities.

Really nice fully equipped lounge. Great showers and friendly service.
A pretty good lounge overall. The seating isn’t four stars by any means, but the amenities make up for it.
