Overview

Opened late 2017, the SAS Domestic Lounge at Oslo Gardermoen airport was designed as a prototype of the airline’s future lounge experience. The carrier has spared no expense, rolling out a new design and innovative amenities such as a gym, an “innovation center”, and handcrafted coffee.

Spreading across a 902 sq. m. (9,700 sq. f.), the SAS Domestic Lounge Oslo is the carrier’s largest domestic club. The space sports a sophisticated decor that honors the airline’s Scandinavian roots while incorporating the latest design trends: clean lines, muted tones, and communal tables. At the center is a homely kitchen area, while at the periphery guests can relax in plush, over-sized seats.

The buffet features snacks, cold cuts, cheeses, crudites, salads, and sweets. Beer and wine are on tap. Coffee lovers will enjoy the complimentary barista station.

The business center features plenty of space to work, along with a conference room, ultra-fast Wi-Fi, and several phone booths.

The SAS Domestic Lounge at Oslo Gardermoen airport also features a complimentary gym with weights, static bikes, treadmills, and rowing machines. Lockers and showers are available—though don’t expect luxury, the showers are more akin to traditional locker room facilities than First Class suites. Towels and bath products are provided.

Another rather unique amenity is the “daylight booster zone”, a room outfitted with a 4,000 lux light. The setup aims to help travelers beat jetlag or cope with long and dark Nordic winters.

The SAS Domestic Lounge welcomes SAS business class passengers and SkyTeam Elite Plus members flying domestically. International passengers will find a separate SAS Lounge and Gold Lounge.

SAS Plus and SAS Business class passengers departing on a same-day flight (no guests)
SAS Plus and SAS Business class arriving on a non-stop flight from Asia or the United States (no guests)
Widerøe Flex Class and Icelandair Business class passengers departing on a same-day flight (no guests)
EuroBonus Gold & Diamond members departing on a same-day flight operated by SAS or a SkyTeam member (+1 guest or up to 4 immediate family members)
EuroBonus Diamond members arriving on a non-stop SAS flight from Asia or the United States (+1 guest or up to 4 immediate family members)
SAS Go passengers, for a fee. Purchase while checking-in online for the best price.
First and Business Class passengers departing on or connecting to/from a same-day flight operated by a SkyTeam member (no guests)
SkyTeam Elite Plus members departing on or connecting to/from a same-day international flight operated by a SkyTeam member, in any class of service (+1 guest)
